We made this game to bring every kid's secret dream to life: make the school go BOOM 💥 — without getting in trouble, of course.
Class Chaos is the kind of game we wished our school break time had. It gets people talking & laughing across the table, and pulls everyone off their phones — u better, i'm telling u!!!
Look closely at the cards and you'll see three completely different art styles: the action cards (mischievous purple chaos), the event cards (kawaii classroom moments) and the character cards (stick-figure simplicity). Each one was drawn by a different person on the team. Same game, three voices.
📚 Pick Your Battlefield
Same deck. Different goal. Pick what fits your group.
Be the last player not eliminated. Free-for-all chaos.
Students vs Bullies. Eliminate the entire opposing team to win.
📝 Quick Start
Read this once and you can play. The full rule book is in the accordion below.
Shuffle Action deck and Event deck separately. Deal each player 2 Action cards + 1 Excuse Note.
Play up to 2 Action cards. Draw 2 Action cards (watch out for Detention!). On even turns, draw 1 Event card.
Survival → last one standing wins. Team Play → first team to eliminate the other team wins.
1 · Play phase (optional) — play up to 2 Action cards from your hand. Excuse Note and Nope! are reactions — they don't count as your played cards and can be used outside your turn.
2 · Action draw — always exactly 2 — draw 2 cards from the Action deck, one at a time.
3 · Event draw — only on EVEN turns — on turn 2, 4, 6… (and only if you survived) draw 1 Event card. Resolve it with the whole table, then set it aside — Events fire once per game, never again.
4 · Hand check — discard down to a maximum of 4 cards. Excuse Notes count toward the limit.
5 · Pass — play moves clockwise.
Detention — drawn from the Action deck. If you can't play an Excuse Note, you're eliminated immediately. (6 in the deck.)
Excuse Note — a reaction. The moment you draw Detention, play your Excuse Note: both cards discard and you survive. You can hold multiple at once. (8 in the deck.)
Survival Mode — be the last player not eliminated.
Team Play Mode — your team wins when every member of the opposing team is eliminated. Characters reveal as players are eliminated, so teams become clearer as the game goes on.
Event deck empty? No more Events for the rest of the game. Continue with Action draws only.
Attack AND Sabo in one turn? No — both end your turn. Pick one.
"Forced" turn (from Attack or Sabo)? Follow the normal sequence. Event cadence is global — turn count keeps moving.
Nope on an Event card? No. Nope only cancels Action cards played by other players.
Teacher's Pet — does it block Detention? No — Detention comes from the draw pile. Teacher's Pet only blocks cards played AT you.
Snitch — do eliminated players lose a card? No. Snitch only hits active players.
Can I check my own Character card? Yes, anytime. Just don't show anyone.
🎨 Three artists, one deck
Same team. Three different art voices. Look at one card from each style side by side — it's literally three students' handwriting in one box.
