Singapore's food. Your friends. Total chaos.
The Origin Story
"If we were to make a card gameโฆ what should it be about?"
We thought for about three seconds. And then โ FOOD. Obviously.
Because if there's one thing every student in Singapore agrees on, it's not homework. It's not exams. It's definitely not waking up early. It's food โ specifically, hawker food.
So we built a game that celebrates the dishes we grew up eating, the friends we fight over food with, and the kind of chaos that only happens around a shared table.
Every round becomes a story you'll retell at recess.

Quick Start
Draw 1 Action card and 2 Money cards. Now you're loaded and ready.
Buy up to 2 dishes from the Market, play 1 Action card, or discard dishes. Your call!
Trim your hand to 8 cards max. Refill the Market. Pass to the next player.
1. Shuffle the Food deck face-down. Flip 4 cards face-up in a row โ this is the Market (the dishes you can buy).
2. Shuffle all 8 Risk cards into the Action deck. Place it face-down.
3. Put the Money Bank (all the money cards) in the middle where everyone can reach.
4. Each player gets: 1 Character card + 2 Action cards + $8 cash (one $5, one $2, one $1).
Before you buy any dish, check these two things:
๐ซ Allergy Check: Each kid character has one ingredient they CANNOT eat (peanut, dairy, pork, or beef). If the dish has that ingredient on it, you can't buy it! Ollie and Merlie have no allergies.
๐ถ๏ธ Spice Check: Every character has a spice tolerance number (from 2 to 5). You can't buy a dish with a spice level higher than your number.
You can play 1 Action card per turn during your Play phase. Here's what they do:
8 Risk cards are mixed into the Action deck. They look different so you'll spot them when drawn.
When you draw one:
1. DON'T look at it!
2. Choose: open it yourself, OR pass it face-down to the next player.
3. That player makes the same choice โ open or pass.
4. If it comes all the way back to you, you MUST open it.
The game ends when the Food deck runs out and the Market can't be refilled to 4 cards. Finish the current round so everyone gets equal turns.
How to score each dish:
Add up all your dish points. Highest score wins!
Can I hold more than 3 dishes?
Not without a "Go to the Toilet" card. It adds +2 slots, up to max 5.
Can Stop! cancel a Risk card?
Nope. Risk cards are drawn, not played.
Can I dump a bad dish on someone with Tray Exchange?
No โ both sides must follow allergy and spice rules.
Do I pay for a stolen dish (Still Hungry)?
No, it's free! But you must be able to eat it and have a free slot.
What if I can't afford anything?
Your turn passes. Draw more money next turn. Use Action cards to get food without buying!
Can I skip my turn?
Yes! You still draw cards at the start and must discard Action cards down to 4 at the end.
